Good Tuesday everyone. We are coming off a rather wild Monday with severe thunderstorms and a big temp drop. The rest of our week looks to see some more big changes that will take us into a chilly start to the month of October.
How does the weather look as we close out September? Here is your 5 day forecast…
- Partly sunny skies will be noted today as temps make a run toward 70 for many areas. Some afternoon clouds will increase and we will watch the northwestern sky for a shower.
- The big upper level low will slowly work across the region Wednesday and Thursday. This will lead to a better shot for some showers on Wednesday with some morning action possible Thursday. Highs Wednesday will hit the upper 60s to around 70 with 70-75 Thursday.
- A big time cold front will move through here Thursday night and will bring a broken line of showers. The big news is the major cold shot coming in for the weekend. Look at the numbers from the GFS forecast model…
- Those maps have a BRRRR factor to them and will mark a very chilly start to our tenth month.
I will have another update later today. Have a great Tuesday and take care.
