Good Saturday everyone. We’re starting out the weekend on a very frosty note as our temps dip close to freezing this morning. Things are looking up for the rest of the day into Sunday as readings climb and the sunshine returns.
Many folks will be heading out to Commonwealth Stadium today and will have some chilly tailgating weather. The game forecast goes like this…
Sunshine today will boost more of our thermometers to near 60 degrees and Sunday is looking even milder. Readings will warm into the 60-65 degree range with an increase in afternoon clouds.
Those clouds are ahead of a weak front that will dip into the northern Ohio Valley Sunday night and Monday. This may touch off a shower or two in the process with Monday’s highs back in the 60s.
Tuesday features some very mild air with readings surging into the 70s as gusty southwesterly winds increase. This is ahead of another big pattern change that takes our weather maps into a winter look… again. The end of the week setup has more cold air to work with than the one we just had and should have a better chance at bringing an early season touch of winter to the region.
Look at the Canadian cold air supply the end of the week storm will have to work with…
We shall see how this all plays out.
Have a great Saturday and take care.
