A Few Halloween Showers

Good Monday and Happy Halloween to one and all. The forecast is always important, but today it takes on some added weight. Ghosts and goblins will be making their rounds in search for as much candy as they can get their hands on. The last thing they want is to have to use one of those hands to hold an umbrella with.

Unfortunately… we do have some showers across the state today. I continue to be hopeful we can get the rains out of town before trick or treating kicks into high gear. Here is a look at the forecast…

The system causing the showers will be scooting through here at a good pace. You may even hear a scary clap of thunder at some point today. This would go along with gusty winds.

The rest of the 5 Day Forecast shows an active pattern…

Tuesday and Wednesday look to be very nice days with readings in the upper 50s and low 60s with sunny skies.

A fast moving area of low pressure will work our way for Thursday and Friday and will bring our next round of rain. Highs will come back down into the low and mid 50s as our winds pick up.

Things look to clear out nicely by the start of the weekend, with Saturday looking likeĀ a very nice day. The fast moving pattern will then throw another front our way by late Sunday into next Monday. That would also bring some showers back in here to go along with cooler temps. That same system should bring another major major winter storm to parts of the country. Areas from Colorado to Minnesota will be in the line of fire from this next snow maker.

Back to our Halloween weather… here is your regional radar to track today’s showers…

Happy Halloween and take care.
