A Touch Of Snow Tonight

Good evening weather folks. Many areas picked up some snow showers and flurries today and this is a sign of things to come as we head into tonight.

The big storm that brought flooding rains to Kentucky over the past few days is working by to our northeast. There is a nice band of backlash rain and snows working southeastward out of Indiana and this will move into central and eastern Kentucky this evening and overnight.

An early evening mix is likely before we switch it over to light snow and flurries. Any area can pick up a coating of snow tonight… especially on elevated surfaces. It is possible for a spot or two to pick up a little bit more than that.

I will be really watching the area from Lexington to Louisville and points to the north toward Covington. This region may get in on a burst of some heavier snow. Just something to keep in mind.

Let’s track all the action:

Current Temps

I will update things as needed and will send out quick updates via twitter. Take care.
