Good Friday everyone and thanks for dropping by the blog. We’re ending a rather busy week of weather on a colder note and that cold air hangs tough into the coming weekend. We will have a few chances for some snowflakes over the next few days, but it’s nothing like we would normally be seeing this time of year.
Our heavy rain maker is now off to our east and colder air is moving in. Our temps will drop into the upper 30s to low 40s early and stay there for much of the day. Some leftover light rain showers may mix with a little light snow at times… especially early.
Here is your daily dose of tracking tools:
The 5 Day Forecast :
The system moving on on Saturday will bring gusty winds and a line of rain and snow showers with it. Temps should spike into the upper 30s ahead of this front and then dive toward the low 30s behind it.
Another cold front drops in on Sunday and brings a shot of some afternoon snow showers or flurries. The best chance will be in the north and northeast as temps come down a few degrees.
The long range look ahead into next week calls for temps to mild up for the first half of the week with more rain moving in by mid week. Just what many of you are hoping for… more rain. Yippee!
Have a great Friday and take care.
