Good Saturday to one and all. We have a couple of fast moving systems impacting our weather over the next few days. The first will move through here today with some rain and snow showers and gusty winds. The second system will give us a glancing blow of winter on Sunday.
This is about as much winter as we can squeeze our right now, so enjoy it.
A period of rain and snow showers will be possible this morning into the early afternoon hours. Temps will generally range from the upper 30s to low 40s for highs, but will fall back some by later this afternoon.
You can track all of today’s weather from right here on the blog:
Sunday will be another windy day with similar temps and a few flurries or snow showers across the north and east. It’s a one and done shot of cold as our temps warm back toward the 50s for the first half of next week.
Rain should increase by Wednesday and Thursday as low pressure heads toward the bluegrass state. There is some indication of something wintry brewing by the end of the week into next weekend. The European Model has a nice looking storm to our east on Friday.
The seasonal trend argues against something like that happening. But, it is worth noting and keeping an eye on in the coming days.
Have a great Saturday and take care.
