Good Saturday everyone. Snow showers and squalls will combine with an arctic wind to give us a very wintry day in the bluegrass state. Slick travel will greet motorists… especially early. I have you set to track today’s blast of winter.
Let’s start things off with a few notes.
- Snow showers and squalls will be common across central and eastern parts of the state today. These will produce low visibility and will also drop a quick accumulations to add on top of whatever you wake up with.
- Winds today will continue to ramp up and gusts may hit 30-35mph at times.
- Temps will drop into the low and mid 20s by midday and then slowly fall into the teens by early evening.
- Sunday morning temps will range from 10-15 in many areas.

Have a great Saturday and take care.
