Good Sunday everyone. It’s another cold day taking shape across the bluegrass state as we wrap up a wintry weekend in Kentucky. We haven’t said that much this winter, so we really can’t complain too much.
Today starts out with temps near 10 degrees in some areas and we will finish things in the upper 20s and low 30s. Here’s your temp tracker:
Current Temps

Clouds will increase on Monday ahead of the next system set to impact the state Monday night into Tuesday. Light snow will break out as low pressure works across the southern states during this time. Temps will try to warm enough on Tuesday for a snow and rain mix and this shows up well on the GFS Precipitation Type forecast:
That might be able to put down some light accumulations just in time for the Tuesday morning commute. We will keep an eye on that and another system moving our way by the end of next week.
Have a great Sunday and take care.
