Light Snow and A Mix On The Way

Good Monday and welcome to a new week of weather. Last week was rather wintry and this one will be starting out no different. Light snow will be moving in overnight and threatens to cause some issues just in time for our Tuesday morning commute.

Today will feature an increase in clouds with cold temps continuing. Readings will top out in the mid and upper 30s this afternoon. Light snow will begin to break out across western Kentucky during the evening and will spread east overnight and Tuesday morning. There isn’t a ton of juice with this system, but it should be able to put down some light accumulations.

Here’s a look at the areas with the best chance…

Areas across the northern areas have the best shot at seeing accumulations. I have a hard time seeing any one area getting more than an inch or so of snow. The timing of this could make the Tuesday morning drive a little tricky.

The snow will likely change to a mix and rain in the afternoon as temps warm into the mid and upper 30s.

The rest of the forecast goes like this…

I will have another update later today. Have a great Monday and take care.
