Good Sunday everyone. Here’s hoping the blog finds you putting the wraps on a wonderful weekend. Our weather looks much improved out there today as we see more sunshine and an increase in thermometer readings. That looks like a sign of things to come for the week ahead.
Highs today will range from the upper 40s to low 50s for much of the area. There will still be a nice little breeze blowing as some warmer air filters in from the southwest.
That milder air will kick into high gear Monday as most areas make a run toward 60. Here’s the latest temp run of the NAM Model:
You can see the impact of a weak cold front across the northern Ohio Valley by Tuesday. That may knock temps down in the north down a few degrees across our northern counties.
The next storm system to impact our region is slated to arrive Tuesday evening into Wednesday. A powerful plains storm will head toward the Great Lakes and drag a cold front through here. The end result will be widespread showers and thunderstorms and some of the storms could be strong or severe.
That will be something to watch for in the coming days. Have a great Sunday and take care.
