Good Tuesday evening. We are getting closer to seeing showers and thunderstorms blow up across the bluegrass state. This action gets going tonight and kicks into high gear on Wednesday.
These storms may be severe and the Storm Prediction Center has the entire state covered with the risk:
Damaging wind appears to be the biggest threat over the next 24 hours. Hail and tornadoes are lower on the risk level.
These storms will also spawn some very heavy rain and that may cause some localized high water problems for some areas.
The action gets started out west later this evening and moves in overnight. You can watch it all blow up on regional radar:
Have a great evening and take care.
