Good Saturday and welcome to the weekend. It was a long Friday for many folks with rounds of showers and booming thunderstorms across Kentucky. The threat for some more boomers is with us today and should carry into Sunday.
A big upper level low is spinning across the Ohio Valley today and this will spawn scattered showers and storms today. The freezing level is fairly close to the ground today and this means some hail will be possible with any storm that goes up. Some high winds can’t be ruled out. The same can be said for Sunday.
Temps today will only reach the low and mid 60s for highs. We have you set to track today’s weather:
Highs Sunday will hit the mid 60s with a little breeze kicking up. Milder air moves back in early next week with our next threat for thunderstorms lurking for the middle of the week.
