Good Sunday everyone. Our weekend is wrapping up with an upper level low slowly pulling away from the bluegrass state. This system has been responsible for scattered showers and storms over the past few days and may crank a few more out today. What about the week ahead? We have you covered.
Temps today look to be very similar to what we had on Saturday with afternoon highs in the 60s. The best chance for some scattered showers and storms will be across the east and southeast. The NAM simulated radar pics for this afternoon show this well:
That stuff will continue to move on to our east by tonight and should leave us with a couple of nice days to start out the new week. Winds may be a little gusty and temps will be just above normal. Here’s what the NAM is seeing:
Our next threat for showers and thunderstorms will sweep in on Wednesday ahead of a cold front. This front will usher in some cooler air for the end of the week and that may hang around into next weekend. Temps look seasonal for this time of year.
Have a great Sunday and take care.
