Good Tuesday to one and all. Today’s weather is going from frosty to fantastic as warmer air slowly moves in from the southwest. I hope you had a chance to cover some of those tender plants and vegetation before the frost nipped it in the bud.
Temps this morning will be in the low and mid 30s before warming into the mid and upper 60s under sunny skies. Readings will hit the low and mid 70s across the western half of the state. Follow today’s temps:
The 70s will cover the entire state on Wednesday ahead of a cold front. This front will spawn a line of showers and thunderstorms and some of the storms may be strong.
This front will knock take our temps from above normal to near normal. The GFS Temp Departure map shows the power of the boundary:
That warm air that gets shoved back into the plains states will come roaring eastward by the weekend. Temps should hit the 70s again with the chance for some scattered showers and thunderstorms.
