Tracking Showers and Storms

Good Wednesday everyone. Much warmer air has surged into the bluegrass state today ahead of a cold front diving in from the northwest. This combination usually means the threat for some strong or severe thunderstorms and we have that out there today.

I will be on the road today heading to New Orleans to do live weather for WKYT-TV and won’t be able to update as normal. That is unless I can find some wi-fi hot spots along the way. I have the blog set with all you need to track the storms.

Damaging winds and large hail are the main threats from today’s storms.

I will have updates via twitter and will be sending out information on watches and warnings.

Have a great Wednesday and take care.
