Good Thursday to one and all. The thunderstorms that blasted the bluegrass state Wednesday packed a heck of a punch. Some big time hail fell across much of the state with some folks seeing the ground covered by golf ball sized chunks of ice.
We have a calm day taking place today as sunshine returns. Winds will be a little breezy and temps will hit the mid to upper 60s.
A cold front will work in on Friday and may produce some quick-moving clusters of showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms may become severe with damaging winds the primary threat. That will be followed by the threat for large hail.

Temps will drop some on Saturday as leftover showers slowly move away.
