Good Thursday everyone. Our day starts off on a nice enough note and then gets a little bumpy later in the day. A strong storm system is about to blow into town and will pack a bit of a punch with strong and severe storms possible.
Most of the action won’t arrive until late this afternoon into this evening. Damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes will be possible once the storms get going. Here is all you need to track today’s action:
Storms may decrease some overnight and then fire back up again on Friday across eastern Kentucky. That will be where the front should be located by the early afternoon hours.
Much cooler air works in with temps dropping into the upper 50s and low 60s as the front passes where you live. Readings will then flirt with record low levels by Saturday morning with temps in the 40s.
I will have updates as needed. Enjoy your Thursday and take care.
