Father’s Day Storms

Good Sunday and Happy Father’s Day. Mother Nature looks to honor many of the Kentucky Dads by giving them a break from watering the lawns. Showers and thunderstorms will work across the bluegrass state today as a weak front nears the area.

There is no guarantee that your lawn will get a good soaking, but the chances are pretty high today. Some of the storms that go up may actually put down a little too much rain in some spots. That could lead to some local high water issues.

In addition to the heavy rain, a few strong or severe storms can’t be ruled out. That is certainly something I will be keeping an eye on and have updates as needed.
