Good Friday to one and all. We have a cold front sweeping across the commonwealth today and this will bring us a much better brand of air. Temps will come down closer to normal levels and we will lower the humidity levels, too. Some scattered showers and thunderstorms will also be thrown into the mix.
Highs today will generally run in the low and middle 80s as the front passes by. Winds may pick up a bit as scattered showers and thunderstorms fire up. The greatest concentration of rain is likely to be across the eastern half of the state. Here are your tracking toys:
Saturday looks to be a fantastic day with temps in the low and mid 80s to go along with plenty of sunshine.
Sunday will be warmer as reading hit the upper 80s to around 90 degrees. Winds will begin to pick up as another cold front dives our way from the northwest. This front arrives on Monday with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temps behind the front will be more typical of September than June. The GFS says you get a few days in the 70s for highs:
Can we get our lows to drop into the upper 40s? That’s a possibility and is something that doesn’t happen very often in June.
