A complex of rain and embedded thunderstorms will continue to lift northward across central and eastern Kentucky today. This will dump more in the way of heavy rain on parts of the region.
Scattered showers and storms will continue this weekend and will be more prominent during the afternoon and evening. With a tropical air mass in place, any storm can put down a lot of water in a short amount of time.
