Good Sunday everyone. I told you mother nature owed us some nice weather and she brought the good stuff on Saturday. It looks like she will give us a second helping of awesomeness today with more sun and pleasant temps. Don’t let it spoil you because the storm train isn’t going to stay away much longer.
Temps today will hit the mid and upper 80s under partly sunny skies. Humidity levels will continue to run in the comfy range for this time of year, so get out and enjoy it.
The threat for showers and storms will slowly work back into town on Monday. This action should be rather isolated around here for most of the day as our temps head toward 90 degrees. Many of the models are suggesting a thunderstorm complex forms across central and eastern Kentucky by Monday night and then again later Tuesday. The NAM is all over it:

So, it looks like we may add to this record setting wet July. That storm threat will carry us into the first week of August.
