Good Saturday everyone and welcome to the weekend. Mother nature has been giving us some fantastic weekend weather over the past month or so. This one looks to be another very nice one as early fall air invades the bluegrass state… again.
Temps today will hang out in the mid and upper 70s for highs under a partly sunny sky. I’m looking at the setup in the atmosphere today and wondering what will keep it from spitting out a pop up shower across the south and east. Hmmm. I guess we will see how the day goes, but that is a possibility and something to watch for.
You can do just that with the Saturday edition of the weather trackers:
The weather for Sunday looks very similar to what we are going through today. Highs will run in the upper 70s to near 80 after starting out in the low and mid 50s. A few clouds will filter in during the afternoon hours as a wave of low pressure develops across the Tennessee Valley. This may bring a few showers or storms our way late Sunday into Monday. That’s not a for sure thing, but is something that bears watching.
Below normal air looks to hang around into the first half of next week. The GFS Ensembles continue to show impressive negative temp departures over the next 7 days:
Enjoy your Saturday and take care.
