Good Monday evening everyone. We have a lot going on in the world of weather so I wanted to drop by for some updated thoughts.
- A cold front is sparking scattered showers and thunderstorms across the region this evening. Not everyone will get in on the action. Leftover showers and storms will be around into Tuesday… especially in the south.
- Isaac is about to become a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico. This should happen very soon and I expect this to become a category 2 or 3 storm as it heads toward Louisiana.
- I continue to see this storm bringing us some much needed rainfall by Friday into the upcoming Labor Day Weekend. How much remains to be seen and will depend on exactly where the remnants end up.
