Good Wednesday everyone. Hurricane Isaac continues to pound Louisiana and much of the central gulf coast states. This slow moving storm is going to slowly work northward over the coming days and will impact our weather in time for the long holiday weekend.
Here’s the track I’m currently anticipating from this storm:
That map is tha path Through Sunday. That setup will bring scattered showers and storms into our region by as early as Thursday night and Friday. Tropical air will continue to surge in for the weekend and this will help ignite showers and thunderstorms. Torrential rains and strong storms will be possible from later Saturday through Labor Day Monday.
