Good Sunday everyone and thanks for dropping by the blog. The remnants of Hurricane Isaac decided to give central Kentucky a bit of a reprieve Saturday as showers and storms formed all around us. Isaac won’t skip us two days in a row.
The leftovers of this storm will continue to work into central and eastern Kentucky today into tonight. Spirally bands of showers and storms will work into our part of the world. If go by what areas in the west had on Saturday… today should bring storms with torrential downpours and some could be strong.
The Kentucky-Louisville game at Papa John’s Stadium this afternoon is likely to be impacted by these storms.
Let’s get you all set up to track today’s storms:
I will have updates as needed and will send out rapid fire updates via twitter. Follow me: @kentuckyweather.
Have a great Sunday and Go Big Blue!!
