Good Monday everyone and welcome to a new week of weather. Things are starting off on a very nice note across the bluegrass state as we continue with our fall feel. The good stuff will continue for a few more days and then we start to change it up a bit by the end of the week. But, I’m already keeping an eye on the next blast of cool temps next week.
Skies will be nothing short of amazing today and our temps will add a dash of awesomeness to the weather mix. Temps this morning will start in the upper 40s and low 50s and finish the day in the 70-75 degree range.
Tuesday will be very similar to today with a few more degrees added onto your friendly thermometer in the afternoon.
We head back toward the low 80s for the second half of the week and that’s when we will begin to focus on a weak system working in for the weekend. This area of low pressure will track into the Great Lakes by Saturday and this will bring the threat for scattered showers and storms to us by Friday. Here’s the look from the European Model:
At this point, I’m not expecting anything other than some scattered stuff into Saturday and Sunday. Weekend temps will start warm and end cool as the front slips to our east.
That cool pattern may really kick into high gear next week across the central and eastern parts of the country.
Have a great Monday and take care.
