Good Sunday everyone. Scattered frost was noted across much of central and eastern Kentucky this morning as temps hit the middle 30s. Lexington hit 36 degrees and that tied a record low from 1974.
Frost will be much more widespread overnight as our temps drop close to the freezing mark. More record lows will likely be set Monday morning and those numbers should be the coldest we have ever been so early in the season.
Protect the tender plants and vegetation or you won’t see them again until the spring. Have a great rest of the day and take care.
