Good Tuesday to one and all and welcome to a milder pattern. The days of frost and record lows are behind us for a little while. That cold setup is being replaced by one that will feature rounds of showers and thunderstorms that will carry us through the rest of the week.
The first brush with showers and storms will come today as warmer air moves in from the southwest. These will be scattered across the region and that means a tricky temp forecast. Areas with some sun may hit the low 70s, but those with more clouds and storms may stay in the 60s. Your daily dose of weather trackers will help you out:
A cold front will stall out across the Ohio Valley as we head into the middle of the week and this means more clusters of showers and storms. That may set us up for some locally heavy rainfall and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some areas pick up a couple of inches of rain. Here’s how the setup looks:
Temps through Friday will generally hit the mid and upper 70s for highs. Our weekend weather looks cooler with temps back in the 60s for highs and the potential for another system to impact the state.
