Good Saturday everyone and thanks for dropping by the blog. We are coming off another soggy day across central and eastern Kentucky, but things look better this weekend. The nice stuff won’t last long as October looks to come in with another big rain event possible.
Morning fog will be slow to burn away today. That will leave us with a mix of sun and clouds with high temps in the upper 60s and low 70s. The weather looks great for those of you heading out to Commonwealth Stadium to watch Kentucky take on South Carolina.
Sunday will be very similar to what we have out there today and will give us a pleasant end to September.
October arrives on Monday and it looks like another rain filled storm arrives at the same time. The GFS gives us a good look at the storm:
This could be another soaking rainfall that delivers 1″-2″ for some areas through Tuesday. I have also been yapping about another big blast of cold air early in October and the models have jumped all over my thought. They bring a heck of a cold shot to much of the country by the end of next week. The European Model:
