Good Tuesday everyone. Our day is starting out with the lowest temps of the young fall season. After a frosty cold start, things look gorgeous into the afternoon hours as the air warms up a bit. I am seeing a much more pronounced warm-up by the weekend.
Readings today will hit the low and mid-60s under partly sunny skies.
Overall, this is going to be an awesome day.
A cold front will arrive early Wednesday and will produce a scattered shower or thunderstorm. Winds will pick up as the front works through here and our temps will come back down. Most areas will stay in the mid and upper 50s for highs.
Thursday morning will likely see readings at or below freezing. Sunny skies will help boost afternoon temps into the lower 60s.
A weak front drops in by Friday and may produce a scattered shower or thunderstorm. That front will then lift back northward as a warm front Saturday and this will introduce us to some warmer air. Check out the numbers from the GFS:
There could be some scattered showers and storms by the end of the weekend.
Have a wonderful Tuesday and take care.
