Good Friday everyone. The much anticipated weekend is upon us and the mother nature is going to throw some changes our way. The first part of the change isn’t so good, but she looks to be saving the best for last. We have a big time warm up in store as we roll into next week.
The weather out there today will feature clouds rolling in from the northwest as our low pressure spins across the Ohio Valley. Scattered showers will be working into parts of the region during the late morning and afternoon. This is not a total washout of a day, but the umbrella should be by your side.
Temps may spike into the low and mid 50s ahead of the clouds and scattered showers. Thick overcast or showers would then knock readings down several degrees. Let’s track today’s potential:
Saturday will see a mix of sun and clouds with a slight chance for an early day shower. Temps should be back into the 50s for highs.
Sunday looks fantastic as warmer air begins to surge in from the west as our pattern flips. The map below shows how different things will look from today to next Tuesday:
Each and every day next week will likely see our temps warm into the 70s for highs. I really don’t see much of a rain chance until the end of the week or next weekend.
Have a great Friday and take care.
