Good Saturday and welcome to the weekend. We’ve had some nice weather over the past few days, but it doesn’t look like that will carry into today. We have a fast moving system rolling in from the west and this will bring a few showers with it. It’s all part of a very active pattern that will carry us into next week.
The best threat for showers will be during the afternoon hours and those will continue into the evening. This isn’t going to be a washout, but you will need to take the umbrellas to be safe. Here’s your regional radar to track the action:
Temps today will warm to near 60 in the far south with upper 40s in the north. That chilly air will continue to settle in over the next few days. Readings will struggle to get much past 50 for Sunday and Monday as things dry out a bit.
There is another system that will develop across the south by the middle of the week. That is going to turn the corner and work up the east coast and has the potential to bring some nasty weather to the hard hit areas of the northeast. This may also bring some light precipitation our way:
Once that storm gets out of the way, our temps are going to really take off by the end of next week into next weekend. It could get pretty warm for a few days.
Have a great Saturday and take care.
