Good Tuesday everyone. We have a seasonally cold air mass settling in across the bluegrass state and it will stick around for a while. While the weather will be chilly, sunshine will be in full supply during this same time.
Thermometers this morning will start out very cold with readings in the low and mid 20s for a lot of areas. Some black ice will also possible for that morning commute. Sunny skies and temps in the low 40s will be common this afternoon. Let’s track the temps:
Lows tonight will likely be a little colder than what we have out there this morning. Some areas could slip into the upper teens for the first time this fall.
The rest of the week will feature similar weather with upper 40s and low 50s for highs and lows in the 20s.
The pattern begins to get a little more active as we head into Thanksgiving week. Many of the models are showing another east coast storm developing and that could have an impact on our weather. You can see this storm on the European Model:
The rest of the holiday week forecast will depend on how long that low sticks around. That’s something we will be following in the coming days.
Have a great Tuesday and take care.
