Good Saturday evening. We’re wrapping up a very cold day across the bluegrass state. Today’s high in Lexington only hit 36 degrees and that made for the coldest day of the season, so far. This taste of cold air may be a sign of wintry things to come.
Low pressure will track just to our south and this will bring rain and snow into the region by late Monday evening. The rain/snow line looks to set up right across us and where that sets up could be the difference between rain mixing with snow or a few inches of slush.
Each model run that comes out continues to show the northern half of the state having the possibility of some accumulating snow. The latest NAM is rather aggressive…
I will have another update coming later tonight. Have a great evening and take care.
