Good Monday evening, everyone. Arctic air continues to push into the bluegrass state on a gusty northwesterly wind. This will give us dangerously low wind chills across many areas overnight into early Tuesday.
Lows tonight will drop into the high single digits and the low teens. Gusty winds will push our wind chill temps below zero. Some areas could reach as low as -10 degrees late tonight and early tomorrow. Limit your exposure outdoors.
Highs Tuesday will only hit the upper teens and low 20s. Those gusty winds will make it feel even colder.
A system moves in on Wednesday with a batch of light snow.
A winter storm will impact the region late Thursday into Friday and this could bring a round of heavy snow our way. The track of the low on the European Model would certainly do the trick:
Have a great rest of your evening and take care.
