Good evening, gang. Another arctic front is pressing into the area and will reinforce the frigid air already in place. This front has very little moisture with it, but the system on Friday is looking a little stronger.
The early call from late Thursday night into Friday is for a general 1″-3″ snowfall across much of the area. The possibility is there for a little bit more to fall and that’s something I will be keeping an eye on.
Parts of southern Kentucky could also get in on a period of freezing rain and sleet.
The setup for Friday may have a decent impact on travel across central and eastern Kentucky.
I will have a first call for snowfall with my late night update. Take care.
