A mild weekend ahead

Good Friday to one and all. The cold air is about to give way to much milder weather blowing into town for the weekend. Thermometer readings will take off as we head into the next couple of days and we may actually see above normal temps.

Let’s get it started with what to expect today. The sun should FINALLY make an appearance as the clouds break up. Thermometers will run in the low and mid 40s north to near 50 across the south.

The 60s will then take over for the weekend:

Saturday looks like the nicest day with plenty of sunshine. Sunday will be mild, but will also bring some question marks. A cold front will be working in from the west and that may get close enough to produce some afternoon showers.

The latest run of the NAM suggests that front plows through here Sunday night:

NAM 2Much colder air then funnels in behind the boundary. Some models say that front moves in about  a day later with less cold air behind it.

Either way… let’s enjoy the weather of the next few days. Make it a fantastic Friday and take care.
