Good Saturday and welcome to a fantastic weekend of weather. Thermometers will go above normal for the first time in nearly two weeks. Throw in a little bit of sunshine and you have the makings of a weekend best spent outside.
Skies will be mostly sunny today with a bit of a breeze kicking in. Temps will soar into the upper 50s to near 60.
Sunday will be even milder with readings warming into the 60-65 degree range as a gusty southwesterly wind kicks in. Clouds will increase and a late day shower can’t be ruled out.
A greater risk of showers and thunderstorms will be with us Sunday night as a cold front swings eastward across the state. Winds will be VERY gusty as thermometers begin to crash as cold air surges back in.
The European Model shows a colder pattern settling in for much of next week:
That’s all I have for now. Don’t forget to set those clocks forward by an our tonight as we “spring ahead”.
Have a wonderful Saturday and take care.
