Good Monday, everyone. Our weather continues to take a walk on the wild side as we have the potential for strong or severe thunderstorms Today. A cold front will work across the Bluegrass State this afternoon and deliver the storm threat one day after a snowstorm hit some areas.
Hail and high winds will be the main threats from the storms, which will be more concentrated across Central and Eastern Kentucky. The most instability looks to be across the southern areas. I have you all set to track today’s action.
Storm Prediction Center:
Cold air pours in later tonight and Tuesday. That will set us up for an extended period of winter conditions. Temps will be well below normal, and we will probably have a few chances of snow along the way. The first might come our way Tuesday night and Wednesday. A more important system is possible by the end of the week.
I will have updates as needed. Take care.
