Good Saturday evening, gang. I wanted to drop by one more time to update you on my latest thinking for the late weekend winter storm.
It’s coming at us in two pieces. The first arrives on Sunday in the form of rain and snow and then switches to snow Sunday night from northwest to southeast. The heaviest snow should fall across far northern Kentucky:
The areas around Lexington and the Interstate 64 corridor are the toughest call in all this because we will be near the rain snow line.
Wraparound snows will crank up for Monday and Tuesday and here’s what I’m expecting then:
We will have to overcome some melting to reach those totals here in the later part of March.
Have a great evening and take care.
