Good Monday, everyone and welcome to another work week. Things are starting off on a toasty note as the warmest air of the year blows into town. Let’s make sure to savor the warm flavor because a cold front looks to bring some chill back later this week.
Temps today will return to the 70s with a mix of sun and clouds and a gusty southwesterly wind. A stray shower or thunderstorm will be possible, especially in the north.
The warm air really takes over for Tuesday into Wednesday with readings soaring close to 80 degrees. Winds will crank during this time as a strong cold front nears the region from the west. That front will then cross the state on Thursday and may pack a punch with strong thunderstorms:
That’s a swing of nearly 30 degrees from Wednesday’s highs to what shows up by Friday. A chilly wind is likely to blow into the start of the upcoming weekend as temps begin to climb back toward normal with a decent amount of sunshine.
Make it a magnificent Monday and take care.
