Good Friday, everyone. Summer temps have given way to much colder air that continues to blow into the Bluegrass State. The buffer between the two was the round of severe storms that moved in Thursday evening.
Things will be much calmer today, but it will be a lot colder. Highs will be only in the upper 40s and low 50s.
This will set us up for a cold night, with lows dropping into the upper 20s to low 30s.
Sunny skies return for Saturday, with chilly winds continuing. Highs will reach only the 50s. Milder air fights back into town by Sunday, with highs hitting the middle 60s with a fair amount of sunshine.
Temps for early next week will head back toward the upper 70s and low 80s. Unfortunately, it won’t last. Check out the big temperature drop on the way for the end of next week:
Moral of the story: Don’t plant anything yet.
Make it a great Friday and take care.
