Scattered storms tracker Saturday

Good Saturday and welcome to a day of scattered showers and thunderstorms. This has been the theme of the past few days and that’s a trend carrying us through the weekend. It won’t be a washout, but keep the umbrella with you to be safe.

The greatest threat for showers and storms will continue to be during the afternoon and evening hours. Locally heavy rains will be possible and that’s something for us to keep an eye on. We can do just that with our daily dose of tracking toys:

Temps today will hit the mid and upper 70s before the drops kick into high gear.

Sunday will feature more warm air and high humidity levels as temps head closer to 80 degrees. Scattered storms will flare back up in the afternoon and evening hours… especially across the east. That’s the area closest to an area of low pressure.

Temps will really take off in the coming days and may reach the mid and upper 80s early next week:

GFSStorms will be more isolated for Monday and Tuesday. The storm chances will increase by the middle and end of the week.

Have a wonderful Saturday and take care.
