Good Tuesday, everyone. The severe-weather season had been rather slow across the country until the past few days. Historic tornadoes across the plains states prove just how quickly the pattern can flip.
Things have been super quiet in Kentucky this spring. We’ve had very few severe-weather events, but that might change over the next few days. The threat of strong and severe storms will increase from west to east today and Wednesday as a strong cold front moves our way.
The greatest threat today will be across the western half of the state. That threat will then work eastward into Wednesday. Damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes will be possible.

I will have updates as needed. Have a great day and take care.
