Good Sunday, everyone. Warmer air continues to fight into central and eastern Kentucky and this will continue to lead to some clouds. Scattered showers will join the party and you may even hear a rumble of thunder.
This isn’t a washout of an event, but your outdoor activities on this holiday weekend may be interrupted. Let’s set you up to track the pesky drops:
Highs today will hit the 70-75 degree range.
Readings for Memorial Day will be in the mid and upper 70s with a mix of sun and clouds and the threat for a shower or thunderstorm.
The warm air finally wins the battle by Tuesday and will set us up with a warm and humid flow right off the western Gulf of Mexico:
That type a pattern can only remain dry for so long and will eventually produce a few thunderstorms. That may be around the time of next weekend.
