Good Saturday, everyone. The weather out there today continues to look and feel pretty darn good. The nice stuff of the past few days will come to a booming end by later Sunday into Monday as thunderstorms increase.
High temps today will head into the 80-85 degree range for much of central and eastern Kentucky. Skies will be mostly sunny with a hint of some late day clouds rolling in. Those clouds will be from showers and thunderstorms going up to our northwest and you can see those on regional radar:

Those showers and storms will increase by Monday as a storm system rolls across the region:
Scattered showers and storms will hang around into the middle of next week as temps come down a few degrees.
The pattern by the end of next week into the following weekend will see the heat ridge staying well to our southwest. Cool air filters into the northeastern states and that places Kentucky in between the two. Rounds of showers and storms will try to work back in from the northwest:
Have a great day and take care.
