Good Friday to one and all. Our surge of tropical air is kicking into high gear across the commonwealth today and will continue into the weekend. The increase in muggy air will lead to a daily threat for showers and thunderstorms. That’s a setup that looks to be with us through all of next week.
Temps today will hit the middle 80s as humidity levels come up. Isolated showers and storms will develop this afternoon into the evening hours. These will be slow movers and can put down heavy rainfall.

Temps and humidity will continue to increase for Saturday and Sunday with mid to upper 80s for highs. The same chance for showers and thunderstorms will be with us in the afternoon and evening as the tropical air really kicks in:
That hangs tough all the way through the first half of next week. The models are advertising some BIG changes by the end of the week into the following weekend:That huge dip in the jet stream would be very wild to see for this time of year. If it’s real… it would bring rainy and rather cool weather our way. That’s something to watch as we go forward.
