Good Saturday and welcome to the weekend. Warm aid with high humidity levels will continue to dominate the weather over the next several days. This will lead to afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms going up.
This tropical pattern looks to come to a booming end by next weekend. More on that in a bit.
Let’s talk about what we have out there today. Temps will be in the mid to upper 80s with humidity levels way up there. That will make it feel closer to 90 degrees. That will also aid in the development of showers and thunderstorms of the scattered variety in the afternoon and evening.
With light winds aloft… these storms will be slow movers and can put down heavy rainfall. Let’s track them:
Similar weather conditions will be with us on Sunday and through much of early next week. That all looks to change by the end of the week as a big dip in the jet stream sends a powerful cold front our way by Friday. This may produce widespread showers and storms:
