Good Sunday, everyone. The weather pattern that continues to invade our region has a nice little tropical connection. We have the very warm temps, high humidity levels and the afternoon and evening thunderstorms. The only thing missing from the tropical equation? The beach. I guess your favorite cement pond will have to do.
Temps today will be back into the upper 80s under partly sunny skies. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be on the move and some of these may be a bit on the strong side. Tropical downpours may create some problems for areas seeing the action. Let’s follow the boomers with our radars:
Monday and Tuesday will feature more of the same.
The hottest air of the week may arrive on Wednesday and Thursday as temps make a run at 90 or a little above.
This is also a setup that may crank up some thunderstorm complexes to our northwest that would try to dive our way by Thursday:
Rounds of thunderstorms may increase late Thursday into Friday as a strong cold front moves in from the northwest. This front could bring a severe weather threat our way before it delivers much cooler air for next weekend.
Make it a sensational Sunday and take care.
