Severe weather update

Good Wednesday evening. Rounds of strong and severe thunderstorms continue to rumble across Kentucky. Earlier storms blew into Central Kentucky and caused minor wind damage. We have reports of trees and power lines down in Franklin and Scott Counties.

Fayette County continues to be under a flash flood warning, with some areas picking up more than an inch of water.

Additional rounds of thunderstorms will work in from the west and northwest. A severe thunderstorm watch is out for much of the area through midnight. These storms will produce additional high winds and torrential rainfall.

Let’s get back to tracking them:

Have a great evening and take care.
